AI Awareness Day — 3 Weeks to Go

We are just under 3 weeks away from AI Awareness Day and we have some exciting news to share!

We have lots of activities available, from 5-minute lesson starters to generate debate and discussion on AI, to games and activities to spot whether images are fake or real.

Live Streams – For Ai Awareness Day!

Introducing AI Awareness Day to your school, assembly halls, and classrooms is our goal. We’ve published a live schedule for the day, featuring live streams from KS2 to KS5 and Teacher CPD, each covering various ai topics — check out the latest schedule.

Congratulations to teachers across the country creating AI Awareness Day display boards.

We are delighted to share that Harris Academy Bermondsey has created an AI Awareness Day display for their playground, where students can see key words, advice and fun facts about AI every day. This brings AI literacy to the heart of the school, the local community, and families.

If you want to share or have created an AI display board, please get in touch — we’d love to feature it!

Updated Resources Page

We have revamped our AI Awareness resources page so they are more appealing and easier to browse. Please share with your colleagues and teachers.

Micro-Credentials and Short Courses

We have heard from teachers around the country about Ai Micro-Credentials and Short courses their students can engage in.

Did you know AQA provides Unit Award Scheme courses for young people wanting to understand AI and explore its impact on their future?

In support of AI Awareness Day (4th June 2026), we’re highlighting three courses available now:

These courses help learners build the knowledge and skills they need to thrive in an AI-shaped world — from understanding how AI works to thinking critically about ethics and careers.

As the campaign continues to gain momentum, we’re excited to announce even more additions and opportunities in the coming weeks.

We’d love to see how your school is getting involved in AI Awareness Day, whether that’s classroom activities, display boards, assemblies, competitions, or student-led projects. Share your photos, ideas, and celebrations with us and tag us on social media so we can highlight and celebrate schools across the country helping to build AI literacy for the future.
