Newsletter: Looking Ahead to 2027

The momentum hasn’t stopped. We are still actively supporting teachers who want to build AI awareness display boards, run school sessions, and plan for the next academic year.

To shape our campaign for 2027, we need your feedback on the stories, challenges, and opportunities you experienced:

🎙️ Student Voice: Capital City College AI Ambassadors

🛡️ Launching: The AI Risk & Readiness Benchmark™

We have received hundreds of emails from teachers wanting to use AI effectively to enhance their practice.

However, as you tick the compliance boxes, a critical question remains: Do you know how AI is actually changing human behaviour in your classroom and school?

To help schools bridge this data gap, we have launched a completely free tool for UK schools to measure AI dependency, risk, and governance.

📝 A Note From the AI Awareness Team

As we look back at the incredible engagement from this year’s campaign, one thing is clear: the AI conversation in education is shifting. We are moving away from simple tech adoption and moving toward understanding real human impact.

Whether it is navigating the changing landscape of subjects like Computer Science, elevating vital student perspectives with our Capital City College ambassadors, or tackling behavioural risks with our new benchmark tool, our goal remains the same. We are here to support your staff, protect your students, and help your entire school community confidently navigate this landscape together.

In our next newsletter, we hope to provide a comprehensive Impact Report detailing the reach and success of this year’s initiative. However, we cannot complete it without your voice! We need to hear from you first to ensure every school’s story is accurately represented. Please take a moment to share your feedback so we can finalise these insights.

Thank you for being such an active part of this journey. And to a bigger, better campaign for 2027!

Best regards,

The AI Awareness Day Team
