Yesterday, we did something historic. Yesterday, we did something it has never done before! Multi-Academy Trusts, schools, charities, EdTech companies, universities, and grassroots organisations stood shoulder to shoulder……competitors, collaborators, and complete strangers united by one shared mission: To give every teacher, every student, and every school the chance to explore Artificial Intelligence. And the response? Beyond anything we dared hope for.
Missed Yesterday? Don’t Worry! You Haven’t Missed Out. If you couldn’t take part yesterday because of exams, the rush coming back after half-term, or simply because the timing didn’t work for your school or department…..no problem at all. Every single resource we created (and every resource our partners shared) is still available, still free, and still ready to use whenever it works for you. AI Awareness Day was the launchpad, not the finish line. 👉 Browse the full resource library: https://aiawarenessday.co.uk/resources/
The Reach: A National Movement Across LinkedIn, X, Facebook, andInstagram, engagement around AI Awareness Day climbed into the hundreds of thousands in a single day.
Search #AIAwarenessDay and #AIAwarenessDay26 on any of these platforms and you’ll find lessons, assemblies, reflections, photos, and messages of support pouring in from every corner of the UK. Our amazing partners helped us reach a wide audience. Many of them have large social media followings and mailing lists, which they used to share information about AI Awareness Day with schools across the country we couldn’t have reached by ourselves. But yesterday wasn’t a one-day spike. It was the moment something we’ve been quietly building for months came into full view:
🎯 1 million+ reach through our work with MATs, charities, organisations, and educational providers
🏫 750,000+ students touched by yesterday’s activities with a clear path to 1 million in the coming months.
These aren’t just numbers. They represent real schools, real teachers, and real conversations happening right now in every corner of the country.
We are on Youtube: Quick AI Wisdom from the People Doing the Work! We’re now actively looking for academics and teachers to share their AI tips, insights, and provocations as part of our growing Mini Masterclass series on YouTube Shorts. It doesn’t need to be polished. It doesn’t need to be long. It just needs to be honest, useful, and yours. If you’ve got a tip, a warning, a “wish I’d known earlier”, or a bold opinion about AI in education……we want to hear from you! 📧 Get in touch: info@aiawarenessday.co.uk
Our Timeline: Your Window Into AI in Education
Over the last few months, our Timeline has quietly become one of the most popular places to stay up to date with what’s actually happening in AI and education — from research papers and policy news, to school spotlights, student voices, and practical classroom ideas. If you want one place to keep your finger on the pulse, this is it.
👉 Visit the Timeline: https://aiawarenessday.co.uk/timeline/ We update it constantly, so bookmark it — and check back often.
Display Boards for the New Academic Year
We’ll continue to support schools with our display boards for the new academic year — and we genuinely believe this is one of the easiest, most effective ways to keep AI literacy front of mind for students, families, and visitors. Place one centrally in your school and it does the work for you: sparking conversations, prompting questions, and quietly building literacy every time someone walks past. If you’d like help setting one up, or want to talk through how to use it in your setting — just reach out to the team. We’re happy to help.
